To Dye For
Positive/Negative Magazine is a student run magazine though the Editorial design course at RIT. The class writes, photographs, designs, and prints a volume of the magazine in one semester.
Photographer Lauren Loncar wanted to write about her experiences with DIY hair dye.
I approached this spread with the goal of integrating the mural with the rest of the page. I repeated the blue colors in the spread and the image of the bird.
Volume 7 of Positive/Negative received Student Gold Award at the National Level of American Advertising Awards in Publication Design.
